My big adventure this weekend was making new friends at the local pub. Saturday night Willow & I were car dogs, and Mom & Dad went out to eat. I got to meet EVERYONE. And I got to lick Corinne a lot, because she likes puppy breath. Hope she likes me when I grow up. Mom wouldn’t let Jeff give me any cheese, but he did snuggle me nice. Later on when I was car dogging with Willow again I could tell she smelled like fish and chips, so I think she got a little snack when she said hi.
The ongoing adventure is the new mulch. Yippee!!! Mom & Dad put down new mulch all around the front of the house, and it tastes soooo good. And every time I run through it my face and paws and belly get all mulchy, so I’m pretty much guaranteed a snack no matter how fast Mom catches me. But this morning she rubbed me in the wet grass after picking me up, so I might have to think of a new trick. I’ll keep you posted. =)

Yesterday I moved into the little house at the base of Cooper’s downstairs kitty condo. It’s just the right size for me – I can turn around in it and sleep all cozy in a bunch of different positions. I like being buried in there, but it’s also fun to hang my head out & brace it on the chaise. It’s my new den, and Cooper is so nice to share it with me.

This morning Mom & I drove to the see Dr. Brown. I wasn’t crazy about the ride, because I was in my crate and that was kind of uncomfortable. I liked driving better when I was hanging out on someone’s lap (or shoulder).
Everyone there was nice, especially the other ladies with their animals. Mom told one lady all about cardi corgis, and I learned a lot. Wow, but she really likes cardi corgis!! Then we went into a room with a nice cool table for me to lay on. Dr. Brown held me and let me kiss her. I weigh 7 pounds – Mom says that’s lucky.
After, we went back home. I played with Willow & Cooper some more, and now I want to take a nap. It’s been a big morning!

Last night was really hard. I got some sleep, but woke up a lot and felt lonely. Mom petted me again, but I just wanted to play with my pack. I barked and barked until I cried and cried. Willow just slept through it. But then it was light out and Mom was smiling at me and getting me up for the day. We followed Willow & Cooper – they chased each other down the stairs. I played outside a little and had breakfast. I like it – Mom doesn’t let Willow eat mine! Then, Willow showed me how to play chase all over the kitchen, living room and dining room. Wow, but she’s fast, and I’m almost just as fast. Willow ran around a lot with her rawhide, and sometimes she lets me chomp on it. She’s nice about sharing.
I’m off to take a nap now!

Hi – it’s me, Willow. I spent the weekend playing and playing and playing at my puppy day camp. Dad picked me up with morning and when I got home I could smell there had been another dog in the yard. And not Mick or Isabel or one of my other friends in the neighborhood. And when I went inside, I saw her!
I’m really excited that Mom & Dad got me a dog. She seems really cool, and kind of smells like where I was born. She follows me around, and we run in circles around the table. Sometimes we go outside together. I let her chomp a little on my new rawhide with me, and sneaked a couple of good bites onto her puppy nylabone. She sits on Mom’s lap a lot; I guess that’s okay. Mom still pets me & rubs my belly.
Mom promised to write for me sometimes; Wiki won’t mind if I take up some space on her blog. She has to, because I was a data dog before she was!!

Hello! My name is Wiki, and I’m a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. I just came home to live with my new Mom & Dad. We drove here last night until it got really really dark. I also live with Cooper, my brother, who is a big black cat and is 8 years old. We met last night. I slept okay – woke up a few times, but my Mom petted me until I felt better and could go back to sleep.
This morning I puppied around for awhile and explored. Fun! There’s lots of things to chew. Even better – I have a sister! Willow is 2, and she’s a cardi corgi like me. She said she was born on the same farm as I was. We chased around awhile, and played outside, and she showed me how she and Daddy play sit and heel (I got yummy treats when we played that). I think she was trying to teach me a game earlier – something with a ball or with a ball and a bone in her mouth. Someday I’ll figure it out.
I’m going to have lots of adventures, and since Dad says I’m a data dog, I thought I’d start a blog and tell you all about them. Some will be big and some adventures will be small, but I hope to have at least one a day. Mom promised to type for me and keep you all posted.
See you around the neighborhood!
